1. Information We Collect
When you create a Joblio account, we collect:
- Account information: First name, last name, email address, password (encrypted), phone number
- Business information: Business name, trade type, city/service area, website
- Subscription data: Payment method (processed securely by Stripe), plan type, billing history
- Usage data: Jobs, leads, estimates, messages, AI assistant configuration
- Communication data: SMS messages handled by your AI assistant, support tickets
- Device information: Push notification tokens for mobile app notifications
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Joblio service
- To process your AI-powered SMS conversations with customers
- To manage your jobs, leads, estimates, and schedule
- To send you notifications about new leads and bookings
- To process payments through Stripe
- To provide customer support
- To improve our AI assistant and service quality
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Stripe: For payment processing
- Twilio: For SMS messaging services
- OpenAI: For AI-powered conversation processing (messages are processed but not stored by OpenAI for training)
- Expo: For push notification delivery
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using encrypted connections. Passwords are hashed using PBKDF2 with unique salts. We use HTTPS for all data transmission.
5. Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page in your dashboard. When you delete your account:
- All personal information is permanently deleted
- All jobs, leads, estimates, and messages are removed
- Your AI assistant configuration is deleted
- Your Twilio phone number is released
- Your Stripe subscription is cancelled
- We retain no information after deletion

You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal data at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@joblio.ca.
